Who I am

This website is run by Renzo Salvador, an independent web developer based at The Cottage, Coneyhurst Road, Billingshurst, West Sussex RH14 9DE. I am the data controller for personal data collected through renzosalvador.com. You can contact me at info@renzosalvador.com or on 01403 910016.

What I collect and why

• Enquiries. When you use the contact form or email me, I receive your name, email address, and anything else you choose to share (phone number, website, message). I use it only to reply to your enquiry and, if we work together, to provide the service. The lawful basis is your consent and, where relevant, steps taken before entering into a contract.
• Server logs. The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which processes technical data such as IP addresses to deliver and protect the website. This is based on my legitimate interest in running a secure website.

Cookies and analytics

With your permission, this website uses Google Analytics to understand how many people visit and which pages they read. It's only switched on if you click "Accept" on the cookie banner; until then no analytics cookies are set. If you accept, Google Analytics sets first-party cookies (named _ga and _ga_*) that last up to two years, and Google processes the data on my behalf. The lawful basis is your consent.

You can change your mind at any time with the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page; choosing "Reject" switches analytics off and removes its cookies. Your choice is remembered in your browser's local storage, not in a cookie.

No advertising cookies are used. Fonts are loaded from Adobe Fonts and Google Fonts, which receive your IP address in order to send the font files to your browser.

Who your data is shared with

Contact form messages are delivered to my inbox by Web3Forms. If you accept analytics cookies, usage data is processed by Google (Google Analytics), which may transfer it outside the UK under its standard safeguards. Your data is never sold, and is only shared with the service providers needed to run this website and my business.

How long I keep it

Enquiries that don’t lead to work are deleted within 24 months. Client records are kept for as long as required for accounting and legal purposes.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, object to or restrict how it is used, and withdraw consent at any time. Email info@renzosalvador.com and I’ll respond within one month. If you’re unhappy with how your data has been handled, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
